Hello, SenTians! Last week, grade 9 had a special 2-day-1-night field trip at Ba Vi National Park.
As soon as we arrived at the destination, we were energized by team-building games that made everyone feel excited and ready for a long active day. At lunch, we had the opportunity to set up tents and prepare a meal with bamboo rice and grilled meat. Everyone worked hard to bring the most delicious lunch. Then, we went deeper into the forest to learn about the trees and some interesting information about the Ba Vi mountain peaks.
The activity that we are sure left an impression on the memories of each grade 9 student was the vibrant – memorable – emotional Gala night. SenTians Grade 9 came up with their ideas and scripts for the program so that everyone could connect and share happy moments. Although there was not much time to prepare, the performances, leading games, and organizing birthday parties still had some shortcomings, but we gradually accumulated the experience of an event organizer after this Gala night. We had the opportunity to communicate and discuss more, learn how to listen, and work in a group in a short time to bring about the best results.
The next day, we climbed more than 1,300 stone steps to reach Uncle Ho’s temple. It was a big challenge but well worth the effort because we were able to visit Uncle Ho’s temple and offer incense to commemorate the national leader.
Experiential trips not only create unforgettable memories but also bring valuable lessons and knowledge. We had the opportunity to learn, challenge, and discover ourselves.
