The 2-day-1-night trip organized by the school for the 6th-grade students brought us joyful and meaningful experiences! For me, the impressions I had at the Thai Hai Ecological Village in Thai Nguyen are hard to describe in words.
Although the trip was not long, it was filled with unforgettable emotions. We had the chance to visit and learn about the National Historic Monument of 60 Young volunteer martyrs. After the tour and the incense offering ceremony, we silently expressed our gratitude and deep respect for the heroes – those who sacrificed their youth to bring peace to our nation.Additionally, we got the opportunity to learn about the Tay people through their distinctive ways of living, greeting customs, and exciting activities like sewing fruit garlands and weaving five-colored strings. These experiences helped us better understand the lives and culture of the people here.
What made me feel the strongest sense of connection with the teachers and friends was the overnight campfire activity. We gathered around, roasting corn and sweet potatoes, and in that warm atmosphere, everyone opened up and shared feelings.
