SenTia teaching team ready to adapt learning assessment in the AI era

On January 17, SenTia School successfully organized a whole-school professional development workshop for its teaching staff, featuring Associate Professor Dr. Mike Perkins, Head of Centre for Research and Innovation at BUV. With the theme “Redesigning assessments for GenAI using the AI Assessment Scale (AIAS),” the session offered fresh and practical perspectives as artificial intelligence continues to influence the field of education profoundly.

During the workshop, the guest speaker supported teachers in:

・ Gaining a deeper understanding of the AI Assessment Scale (AIAS) and its role in integrating GenAI into learning assessment practices.

・ Exploring a structured assessment framework that enables accurate measurement of student learning outcomes in AI-supported learning environments.
