Join SenTians to discover the secrets of animation filmmaking

The Fine Art SenTia students had the opportunity to visit the Sconnect Academy of Media Arts (SAMA), an animation academy, where students got to:

• Tour the production studios, exploring the making of Wolfoo animations and stop-motion films. They gained insights into 2D, and 3D technology, as well as character design, background creation, and film production techniques.
• Experience adapting scripts into storyboards, learning how to develop ideas, sketch scenes, and tell stories visually.
• Interact with industry professionals, learning about career paths and opportunities in the animation field.

“This trip broadened my horizons! Comic books and animated films are carefully crafted by the producers, who consider every frame, choose the right techniques and camera angles, and even design the characters’ expressions so that the audience can fully understand the story.” – shared by Thuy Trang (12A).

This activity not only helped students gain a deeper understanding of the animation industry but also fostered creativity and visual thinking. A fantastic experience that opens up future career opportunities for all SenTians!
