Feeling uncertain is not a weakness – What did SenTians learn from a young female entrepreneur?

Rate this post

“How can we build a CV that stands out when applying to large companies?”

“What challenges do Gen Z face when entering the job market?”

“What advantages do young women have when pursuing their career paths?”

These were some of the questions raised by SenTia high school students during the talk “Feeling Uncertain Is Not a Weakness – As Long As You Keep Learning,” delivered by Ms. Giang Nguyen (Co-Founder of Sliner) in celebration of International Women’s Day.

From her academic journey at British University Vietnam (BUV) to her professional experiences in e-commerce and cross-border payments, Ms. Giang shared valuable insights with SenTia students about self-discovery, career exploration, and personal growth through real-world experiences. Drawing from her own journey, she also shared several meaningful messages with SenTians:

  • You don’t need to have everything figured out at 16–18 years old.
  • Growth comes from being willing to try, learn, and stay persistent on your journey.
  • Feeling uncertain is not something to fear — standing still is.
  • In a rapidly changing world, lifelong learning is one of the most important advantages you can have.

Ms. Giang’s story also highlighted the image of a modern young woman — proactive in learning, courageous in trying new paths, and constantly striving for self-development.

SenTia School would like to sincerely thank Ms. Giang Nguyen for sharing inspiring perspectives with SenTians on their journey of self-discovery and future career orientation.

The talk was part of the Future Ready Academy (FRA) program, organized by SenTia School in collaboration with BUV for high school students. Through a series of talks featuring guest speakers from BUV’s partner network, the program aims to support students in exploring their potential and preparing for the future.

Stay tuned for more upcoming FRA talks with SenTia!
