Making a strong impression as the first female student to receive an early offer letter in Grade 11, Doan Khanh Vi continued to shine in Grade 12 with multiple admission offers from top global universities:

– Trinity College (University of Melbourne) (#13 QS World University Rankings 2025)
– Monash University (#37 QS World University Rankings 2025)
– University of Queensland (#40 QS World University Rankings 2025)
What makes Khanh Vi’s story so special is how she transformed personal struggles into powerful motivation to pursue psychology. Entering secondary school marked a period of emotional change, where Vi faced personal challenges and difficulties in relationships with family and friends. “Sometimes these emotions were too complicated for me, a teenager. I often felt overwhelmed and occasionally burdened by invisible wounds and pressure,” Vi shared. With the support of her loved ones, she gradually learned to think more maturely and approach life with a more open mindset.
Through heart-to-heart conversations with friends and family, Khanh Vi discovered her ability to empathize and recognize others’ emotions and slowly developed skills in effective communication and emotional support.“I want to dive deeper into clinical psychology. First, to better understand and help myself become more positive. Then, to support others going through similar challenges.” This passion became the driving force behind her decision to pursue psychology.
Although she began her university preparation journey a bit later than others, with the support of her family and teachers, Khanh Vi managed to catch up and build a strong foundation for her future. Notably, SenTia’s career counseling department assisted her in creating a compelling personal profile and exploring prestigious universities and scholarship opportunities.
At SenTia, Khanh Vi is known as the lead vocalist of the Glee-Groovania Music Club, Vice President of the Hearts and Hand Psychology Club, a member of Humans of SenTia, and an active contributor to many school events. Vi shared that all of these exciting experiences were made possible by SenTia. “SenTia is a healthy and nurturing environment where I was able to explore myself more.” Here, she learned to step out of her comfort zone and pursue things she never thought possible. SenTia equipped her with essential skills in communication, teamwork, and critical thinking, which are vital tools for her upcoming college journey.
Looking back, Khanh Vi proudly said: “I am becoming the best version of myself.” From a student who once struggled with emotional challenges, she has grown into a confident young woman with a clear goal and passion. To other students pursuing their dreams, Khanh Vi is proof that: “You can turn life’s challenges into motivation to strive forward and rise above.”
Khanh Vi’s story is not only a source of pride for herself and her family but also a significant inspiration to the entire SenTia community. We believe students hold limitless potential when given the right opportunities and environment to grow. SenTia wishes Khanh Vi continued success on her next journey!
