Based on their passion for science, love of discovering new things, and the desire to make a difference, Ho Linh Chi and Nguyen Huu An Nguyen (Class 11A) and Mr. Bui Xuan Dung – Chemistry teacher, researched and implemented the Crystal Growing project. This project was recognized at the Vietnam Crystal Growing Competition, a part of the MOMA Project – Vietnam 2024, and won second prize nationwide.
“Our project is to create sparkling crystals. We spent much time researching documents, methods, and experiments to find the best way to grow crystals. Through teamwork, we learned to divide tasks, support one another, and strive for daily improvement. When the crystals were finally launched, the outcome exceeded our expectations, and we received enthusiastic feedback from teachers and friends. The project satisfied our curiosity and aimed to raise funds to support ethnic minorities affected by natural disasters.” Linh Chi and An Nguyen shared.
The products in the crystal collection were displayed and sold to raise funds within the SenTia community. All profits will be donated to support children impacted by Typhoon Yagi through SenTia’s Small Hands Fund.
Thank you, Linh Chi and An Nguyen, for your valuable contributions to the community. Congratulations on this impressive achievement!
