Autumn arrives, bringing with it the golden hues of falling leaves, the brilliance of the full moon, and the nostalgic flavors of mooncakes that remind us of childhood. In that poetic atmosphere, we poured our pure emotions, gentle rhythms, and heartfelt messages into the project “Autumn Poetry Project” – a midterm assignment that also became a creative playground where we could freely express our thoughts and perspectives on the Mid-Autumn Festival. The project lasted for three weeks — not a long time, but enough to leave meaningful experiences and unforgettable lessons in the hearts of all SenTia Grade 7 students.

In this project, Ms. Ngọc Anh allowed us to try our hand at composing poems in four- or five-syllable forms, accompanied by activities that promoted and voted for the most impressive works. The best poems were not only preserved on paper but also transformed into handcrafted creations that reflected our dreams, deep aspirations, and the spirit of reunion during the full moon festival. Together, we made this project truly special — a space filled with connection, mutual support, and the warm spirit of teamwork.

As we worked with our friends to complete the project, we felt truly proud. Although there were challenges — the limited time and the unfamiliar task of expressing messages through poetry — those very challenges helped us grow and strengthen our bonds. Overcoming difficulties together to achieve success made us realize more deeply the importance of individual responsibility and the meaning of collective unity.

The “Autumn Poetry Project” was truly an emotional journey. Each of us gained precious memories and experiences as we developed our poetry-writing skills and learned to express personal emotions and thoughts through words. The project also nurtured our appreciation for literature and creativity, teaching us how to use language, imagery, and rhythm to convey messages in the most complete way. Through this experience, we realized that the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only about drums and lanterns — it’s also about reunion, the beautiful memories of childhood, and the simple wishes we send to the bright full moon of the eighth lunar month.
