“Teacher, I got to feed the sheep!!!”
“I want to go on the train one more time!”
A beautiful spring day began with an exciting field trip for our Penguin class and Grade 1 SenTians at Golden Bee Garden (Phu Xuyên, Hanoi).
As soon as they arrived, the little ones were captivated by the lush green space and the adorable animals.
Flower-lined paths led our SenTians to their first impressive experiences. The children watched a magnificent white horse perform powerful and sturdy strides—an image that evoked a sense of pride in the Vietnamese national spirit.
The journey continued to unfold with many new wonders: visiting the vibrant peacock garden, watching ostriches, making friends with horses, and especially hand-feeding leaves to the lovely sheep and bunnies.
One of the most thrilling activities for the children was riding on a unique train recycled from oil drums. This creative “train” carried them around the garden amidst joyful cheers.
Beyond just sightseeing, the children “immersed” themselves in exciting role-playing experiences:
Wading through cool, refreshing streams.
Transforming into brave “firefighters” to put out fires.
Hand-crafting soothing herbal foot soak boxes to take home as gifts for their mothers.
Each activity brought not only joy but also gentle lessons about nature and life.
The day passed with endless laughter and meaningful lessons. Before boarding the bus back to school, many children were still reluctant to leave, wishing they could stay longer to continue exploring and conquering the exciting physical challenge courses.
The trip has come to an end, but these unforgettable experiences and new knowledge about the natural world will stay with them for a long time—like a precious little gift for their journey of growing up ahead.
