SenTia’s Got Talent 2024: Vietnamese Identity Shines From Stage to Backstage

The highly anticipated annual art event, First Winds of the Season 5, hosted by SenTia School, made an impressive comeback this year through the talent competition SenTia’s Got Talent 2024, themed Vietnamese Identity.

The Grand Finale, held at the Au Co Art Center, was more than a spectacular performance. It celebrated Vietnamese culture’s values through the younger generation’s creative lens.

The 13 finalists showcased diverse artistic narratives, ranging from traditional melodies blended with modern influences to uniquely personal performances. The champion, Bui An Bao Han (9A1), captivated the audience with her song Viet Nam Trong Toi La (Vietnam in My Heart). The two runner-up spots went to the Glee Groovania Band for their performance, Dam Cuoi Chuot (The Rat’s Wedding) and Nguyen Quang Minh (11A) for an impressive improvisational dance. Three Promising Awards were presented to Nguyen Hoang Minh Tri (12A), Bui Quang Bach (3A3), and Nguyen Gia Han (1A2).

What made this year’s event genuinely remarkable was the dazzling lights on stage and the silent efforts behind the scenes. High school students transformed this event into a genuine playground of creativity and initiative.

Ha An (11A), President of the SenTia Business Club (SBC), and her team demonstrated outstanding management skills by designing and implementing a seating registration system, drafting sponsorship letters, and successfully fundraising for the event and the school’s charity foundation, Little Hands Fund. This experience challenged their capabilities and spread a message of social responsibility and community care.

Ha An expressed gratitude to the sponsors of SenTia’s Got Talent 2024.

Thao Ly (10A1) excelled as the event’s MC for the first time on a big stage, impressing everyone with her confidence and adaptability. Supporting her were the Student Council, who managed logistics, and the Humans of SenTia Club, who led media campaigns to bring the event to the broader community.

The creative artistry of contestants vividly embodied this year’s theme, Vietnamese Identity.

SenTia’s Got Talent 2024 is a testament to the school’s commitment to preserving traditional values while embracing fresh perspectives from the younger generation. Here, each student shines with their talents and contributes to building a unified, creative, and socially responsible community.
