OxfordAQA Teacher Awards – Honoring the educators who shape the success of SenTians in the International Dual Diploma Program

Rate this post

As the first OxfordAQA Examination Center in Northern Vietnam, SenTia School takes pride in its students’ outstanding achievements and remarkable results in the International Dual Diploma Program. Behind every student’s success is the quiet dedication of teachers—those who inspire, guide, and support their learners throughout their journey of knowledge and growth.

The OxfordAQA Teacher Awards recognize the educators who have guided students to achieve the Go Further Award—a special acknowledgment of their expertise, commitment, and unwavering dedication. This award is more than a title; it is a symbol of the profound influence teachers have on their students’ learning journeys and success.

Congratulations and heartfelt appreciation to our outstanding teachers:

– Mr. Alex Katandawa Kingsley – Computer Science, Maths Teacher

– Mr. R-Jay Delizo Bool – Science Teacher

– Mr. Andreas Francoa Botha – Psychology, IGCSEs English, SAT Teacher

Let’s hear the inspiring stories of our teachers—those who continue to write the beautiful narrative of knowledge, belief, and dreams at SenTia.

Mr. Alex Katandawa Kingsley (Computer Science, Maths Teacher):
“It has been an incredible journey teaching OxfordAQA International GCSEs Computer Science here at SenTia School over the past three years. Last year marked a proud milestone for our department as our very first IGCSEs cohort achieved a 100% pass rate — with 67% of our students earning A’s and 33% earning B’s.
We are especially proud to have one of our students recognized as the Top Student in Southeast Asia for Computer Science, a remarkable achievement that reflects both individual dedication and the high standard set at SenTia.
These results reflect not only the students’ hard work and perseverance but also the strong support and encouragement we receive from the SenTia community. The administration has always been flexible and understanding, providing the necessary opportunities to help our students reach their full potential.
SenTia continues to be a wonderful and inspiring place for both teachers and students — a community that values growth, collaboration, and excellence.”

Mr. R-Jay Delizo Bool (Science Teacher):
“Teaching OxfordAQA IGCSE Combined Science at Sentia School for the past three years has been a truly fulfilling experience. Science learning, for me, is more than just mastering theories and concepts—it is a fun, experiential journey where students gain authentic learning that they can carry throughout their lives.
The OxfordAQA framework encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and the application of knowledge in real-world contexts. Through hands-on experiments, investigations, and meaningful discussions, students have learned to explore, question, and connect ideas beyond the classroom. This approach has allowed them to see science not just as a subject, but as a way of understanding and improving the world around them.
One of the proudest moments in this journey was seeing all of my students achieve a 100% passing rate in the IGCSE examination. While the exam results are an important reflection of their progress, they do not define the entirety of their learning. What brings me greater joy is witnessing how they have embraced the values of discipline, curiosity, perseverance, and collaboration—qualities that have anchored them in their academic journey and personal growth.
Their success, both in and beyond the classroom, reaffirms my belief that meaningful science education shapes not only bright minds but also responsible, lifelong learners.”

Mr. Andreas Francoa Botha (Psychology, IGCSEs English, SAT Teacher):
“Each examination season reminds us that standards matter—not as limits, but as aspirations to be transcended through discipline, curiosity, and the intellectual resilience that rigorous learning cultivates.
Our recent OxfordAQA results exemplify SenTia’s learning ethos, reflecting both exceptional individual achievement and the collective commitment of our students to think critically and seek understanding beyond the syllabus.
At SenTia, we view test scores not as endpoints, but as expressions of integrity in motion.
Congratulations to all our outstanding A-Levels and IGCSEs students who achieved competitive international results this year. Your perseverance and love of learning continue to elevate what education, at its best, should be.”

As an OxfordAQA Examination Center—part of the UK’s largest awarding organization for IGCSEs and A-Levels—SenTia School is proud to be the only school in Hanoi offering exclusive advantages for teaching and learning in the International Dual Diploma Program:» Full access to all OxfordAQA training materials, practice resources, and learning documents to maximize teaching and learning outcomes.» Teachers trained directly by OxfordAQA subject specialists, ensuring international standard pedagogy and expertise.» Students take their exams on campus, offering greater convenience, comfort, and time efficiency compared to external examination centers.
