Orientation Week

Orientation Week aims to equip students with the skills to connect, explore, and experience the subjects in their new academic year. It also helps students develop essential skills to adapt and conquer upcoming challenges.

Here are some key activities students will participate in during Orientation Week:

🔹 School Tour – Discovering the School

Returning students take on the role of tour guides, leading new students on a school tour to explore every corner of their shared home at SenTia. By walking through their learning environment—inside and outside the classroom—students learn each area’s purpose, rules, and features, such as the woodshop, science lab, art room, and multipurpose room. This helps them visualize their school environment and encourages responsible use and care of the space.

🔹 House Activities

At SenTia, each student is also part of a house and belongs to a class. Each House includes members from various grades and teacher mentors, resembling a family where siblings and parents support and guide one another. House activities allow students to interact with peers of different ages and collaborate in academic, creative, and recreational activities. These experiences help build responsibility, teamwork, and camaraderie while fostering essential social skills.

🔹 Exploring Subjects Through Scheduled Sessions

Students get to meet their subject teachers, familiarize themselves with this term’s curriculum, and share which subjects excite them the most.

Students can quickly acclimate, integrate, and mentally prepare themselves for the upcoming school year through these activities.
