Grade 9 Graduation Ceremony – The journey of growth reaches its station

The 2022–2026 academic journey has come to a close, filled with a mix of emotions — bright smiles, sparkling eyes, and heartfelt moments of reflection. After four memorable years of lower secondary school, the Grade 9 students’ train of youth has finally arrived at its destination, carrying with it countless memories of a time marked by innocence, enthusiasm, and growth.

Representing the Grade 9 students, Nguyen Hai Anh from Class 9A1 delivered a touching speech, comparing the middle school journey to “a roller coaster ride” filled with excitement, uncertainty, challenges, and personal growth:

“Those changes were like the first twists and turns of a train ride… there were sudden drops after receiving grades lower than expected, and dizzying spirals caused by the overwhelming workload that seemed to increase overnight when we entered Grade 9. Yet after every heart-stopping moment, what remained was joy — the joy of not giving up, of doing our very best, and of achieving the goals we had hoped for.”

More than a farewell to their school years, the speech was also a heartfelt tribute to those who had accompanied the students throughout their journey of growing up:

“I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey. First, to our parents — the people who have loved, cared for, and devoted themselves to us more than anyone else. Despite their busy schedules, they always tried their best to create opportunities for us, support us whenever we needed help, and become the first teachers who held our hands and guided us step by step through life.

I would also like to thank our teachers — the ones who ignited the flame of knowledge in every student’s heart. Through each lesson, we gained not only valuable knowledge but also meaningful life lessons that extended far beyond the pages of our textbooks.

And finally, thank you to my friends. Thank you for being part of these colorful four years of middle school, for striving together, and for sharing moments of joy, disagreements, and new experiences. Together, we have grown stronger through all the changes and challenges of the past four years.”

One chapter has come to an end, making way for many new journeys ahead. To all Grade 9 students, may you always cherish the beautiful memories of your school years and carry with you courage, confidence, and gratitude as you continue forward on the next stages of your journey. Thank you for creating such a wonderful youth together.
