Book Day

Every Book Has a Story

Every page carries a meaning, and every book holds its unique value. SenTia regularly organizes various activities during Book Week and on Book Day to promote the love and culture of reading.

This year, with activities centered around affectionately celebrating books, “Dear,” primary students at SenTia enjoyed two weeks of special events.

Welcoming “mystery guests” with special books:

Students were thrilled to meet “mystery guests” who visited their classes with intriguing books. Some guests appeared wearing “mysterious masks,” while others hid behind “magic houses.” Through voice clues or hints like gestures, hairstyles, or subtle expressions, students eagerly guessed if the guest was a classmate’s parent. Each book brought by these unique visitors carried fascinating stories, offering students the chance to tackle challenges, interact, and discuss the meaningful lessons from these stories.

D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read):

When the signal bell rang, teachers and students alike paused their activities, picked up their books, and began reading. Everyone followed the call to read, whether during a lesson, playing an exciting soccer match, or immersed in another activity. Students even eagerly exchanged books with one another, sharing their favorites and reading together.

The series of activities during Book Week fully embraced the theme of loving books, encouraging the reading culture, and fostering moments of connection and affection among teachers, students, parents, and the SenTia community.

Other exciting events took place, such as letter-writing contests for book authors, designing reading corners, capturing photos, and creating book covers, making the week a truly memorable celebration of reading and creativity.
