A Warm Welcome and a Sense of Belonging

The start of a new school year always brings a wave of emotions — excitement and anticipation, alongside the natural jitters of stepping into a new environment. Understanding this, SenTia’s Pre-School and Primary sections dedicated the opening days of the school year to creating a warm, welcoming, and deeply connected journey. Our aim was to ensure every student feels seen, cared for, and truly at home. 

Through orientation activities both before and during the first days of school, students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with teachers, friends, learning spaces, and daily routines. Simple moments — warm greetings, friendly conversations, icebreaker games, and school discovery activities — served as essential bridges, helping students build confidence and a sense of safety step by step. 

In the initial weeks, classroom culture-building activities continued to foster teamwork, collaboration, and positive daily habits. Students were encouraged to share, listen, support one another, and co-create a classroom where every voice matters. For our younger learners, introducing new rules, schedules, and spaces in a gentle manner made their transition feel natural and seamless. 

From this warm beginning, our students are ready to step into a journey of learning, discovery, and joyful growth within the SenTia community.
